The Skinny
Some of you have been asking what’s up with the job search. Well, honestly, nothing. Let me explain.
Since the last post My wife and I had daughter number two. As such I found it necessary to take a little moratorium from the whole starting a brand new career thing. There is only so much totally new experience one can handle all at once. This is a lesson I learned late in life, but just in time to keep my wife from killing me in my sleep.
But yesterday I found myself writing a list. This was a who to catch up with list. I didn’t make a conscious “I’m ready to get back in the game” decision. I just looked down and saw a name in my moleskin and thought, “hey, I need to call that guy.”
And then 20 other names came to mind. Rick, Nancy, if you are reading this, be expecting a call. While I’m at it. I may as well try to get in touch with Luke and Ernie too.
On another topic. I’ve been getting a lot of feedback on my portfolio lately. Some folks are very impressed by it. Others are not. I find myself in the later camp more often than not. And there is a topic for a future podcast.
