I'm not sure if John is going to reply to this, but I have been asking around for you. The answer I have been getting is 'Yes'.

What I've been hearing is, if an agency likes your book, and it makes it to a short list of possible hires, they will often fly you out for the interview. This of course depends on the size of the company, how good your book is and the size of the recent account they landed.

Hey John! This is more of a logistic question, do agencies normally conduct interviews to applicants out of state? I mean, if you have to fly all the way to NY for example for a job you might not even get.. I was just wondering if there is some bargaining leverage there somewhere, like a guarantee at least.
